Hydromulching is often thought of as something used only on big construction sites, roadside projects or large scale erosion control areas.
But it is not just for major works.
Hydromulching is also a great option for smaller areas, tricky spaces and hard to reach spots where traditional seeding or turf may not be the best solution.
Recently, the East Coast Hydro Mulching team completed a hydromulching application on a septic area. It was a smaller site, but still an important one. Areas like this can become exposed, dusty, patchy or prone to erosion, especially when the ground has been disturbed or left without proper cover.
By applying a hydromulch mix directly to the surface, we helped create the right conditions for fresh growth to establish.
The mulch layer helps protect the soil, retain moisture and hold the seed in place while the area begins to recover. With the right conditions and a little time, this septic area will soon be looking fresh, green and full of life again.
This is a perfect example of how hydromulching can be used for:
Septic areas
Residential properties
Sloped sections
Difficult access spaces
Patchy or exposed ground
Newly disturbed soil
Small revegetation areas
Erosion prone spots
No job needs to be huge to benefit from professional hydromulching.
Sometimes, it is the smaller areas that make the biggest difference to the look, function and health of a property.
